Tae + Forrest's Intimate Wedding
Romantic small wedding celebrated with family and friends
Rohrich Love Story: Brynne + Devan
Two best friends getting married
Getting to document Brynne + Devan’s wedding was so much fun. The entire time I could just tell that these two were best friends beyond excited to start their life together. First look brought the waterworks, their loved ones brought the supporting hugs, and the dance floor brought the splits.
Summer Rooftop Wedding: Savannah + Dominic
Lovely summer wedding with a party on the rooftop
Savannah + Dominic’s wedding brought out all the emotions as well as dance moves. From hand written letters read down by the river, to their live band on the rooftop overlooking the city, this wedding day was an absolute blast.
River Engagement Session: Kelly + Joe
Romantic River Engagement Photos
Kelly and Joe braved the 20 degree weather to take their engagement photos with me. Even though it was chilly outside we made the absolute most out of our session. Dancing and cuddling on the sandbar, and holding each other close on the prairie made for the most romantic photos.
Boho Badlands Fall Wedding: Alyson + Riley
Intimate Wedding in the Badlands
Alyson + Riley had the perfect Badlands destination to host their wedding. Dreamy rocky buttes with Fall leaves surrounding them. Every part of their wedding felt authentically them, which is my favorite part as the photographer. Being able to capture the love of a couple and two families coming together is an honor. I look back on these photos and see nothing but genuine smiles and excitement from Alyson + Riley, and every guest in attendance.
Intimate Prairie Wedding: Shaunda + Pat Brooke
2020 country elopement
Shaunda + Pat were my first wedding of the season this year. Due to Covid-19 their plans had changed, but in no way did the love, excitement, and beauty of the day change. Everything about their day was so perfect and personal to them. Shaunda had hid little details all throughout the wedding that focused on her mother, and their loved ones, Pat’s profession, and their personal love story. We traveled out of town to the family farm, it was truly picture perfect. This North Dakota prairie holds special meaning to them, so obviously it was the ideal place to take their couples photos. Shaunda + Pat’s reception took place at their family farm, another personal space to celebrate their nuptials. Enjoy the rest of the photos, giving you a sneak peek into the Brooke Wedding.
Midwest Elopement: Luke + Theresa Hill
Midwest Elopement
Luke + Theresa reached out to me back in May. Covid-19 had drastically changed their wedding plans, and they were wanting to get married surrounded with the most important people to them. I was thrilled to be able to document their wedding, it felt incredibly intimate and personal. I could relate to everything they were going through as someone who got married through Covid as well. Luke + Theresa had an elopement styled wedding focused on what was most important, their marriage. From the ceremony celebrated by Theresa’s brother; to dancing in the backyard Airbnb, every moment of June 13th felt joyful and loving.
Vintage Neutral Newborn In-home Session: Merck Family
In-home Newborn Session
Newborn in-home sessions might be one of my favorite things. I love to come into someone’s home and document their everyday life with a new baby. The Merck family welcomed me into their vintage apartment, I spent the morning watching them dance in the living room with Fulton, making coffee together, and snuggling up on the sofa. Diaper changes, feedings, a little spit up here and there, and the soft coos of a newborn are all so real and all so precious.
Prairie In-Home Newborn Session
The coziest in-home newborn session: Chazlynn + Ty + Braun
Chazlynn + Ty welcomed me into their quiet english ranch style home to take the most precious pictures of their baby Braun. I was the videographer for Chazlynn + Ty’s wedding a couple years back, so being able to take their family photos meant the world to me. Although the chilly North Dakota weather was happening outside, we were cozied up inside counting Brauns toes, gushing over his head of hair, and talking all things as new parents. This in-home session has such an authentic comfortable feeling, it was effortless to capture the love that this new family carries.
Intimate Fall Wedding, Dickinson ND: Greta + Luke
Intimate North Dakota Fall Wedding with Greta + Luke
Greta + Luke’s Fall wedding was truly special and intimate. From the moment of their first look and Nuptial Mass; to their first dance together, every moment was filled with unconditional love. Greta and Luke created a day that wasn’t just about the dress or party, their wedding day was faithful and romantic in every way. These photos really do speak a thousand words. As a photographer I let those intimate moments of the day guide themselves, and it created some truly special memories.
Romantic Fall Engagement Session: Alyson + Riley Bismarck, ND
Romantic boho Fall engagement session with Riley + Alyson.
All of this North Dakota winter weather is making me miss that early Fall weather. Alyson + Riley’s engagement session is bringing me all those warm summer fall vibes. Hopefully their shoot can defrost your toes and make you dream of warmer days as well. I love creating a space for my clients to feel and act like themselves with one another. It’s never about placing people perfectly, but allowing this genuine connection happen.
Fall Wedding, Dickinson ND: Keblie + Colby
Kelbie + Colby romantic Fall wedding.
Kelbie + Colby couldn’t of had a more beautiful wedding day. From the moment of their first look to them tearing it up on the dance floor, their love was so energetic and contagious. Kelbie has always had a special place in my heart; being like another sister as I grew up, so being able to document her wedding day was so heart warming. Every moment, every picture felt intimate and special. It really felt like it was just the two of them enjoying each others company and falling more in love by the second, which is such a gift.

Spring Wedding: Matt+Marissa
Snowy Spring Wedding with Matt + Marissa
Matt + Marissa’s spring wedding got a little bit of snow (4 inches!) and the entire day was BEAUTIFUL. Their May wedding was filled with a lot of cozy snuggles to stay warm, lots of laughs, drying off her dress at the church, and some stellar friends and family. All I could think of when I was documenting their wedding day was “wow these friends/clients are beyond amazing to work with!” we braved the snow and took some truly magical pictures. Follow along with their wedding day below:)
