I remember getting the most heart felt email from Melissa. She and Steve were going to Elope by the National Park with their close loved ones, and parents on zoom. The craziness floating around the world wouldn’t stop them from professing their love to one another. They welcomed me into their home, everything felt calm and happy. Sipping coffee with their friends around the table before getting into their wedding attire.

The ceremony was intimate and personal, the Badlands as the perfect backdrop. Tears, hugs, kisses, and many words of love. I felt so honored to be there capturing this special moment happening in front of me. We took photos, drove back home and made a cheers to the newlyweds. Champagne toast and family photos on the front porch during sunset was real and genuine. I left feeling so welcomed, and so ecstatic about how the entire elopement went. This is one of those weddings that will always hold a special place in your heart.

Shaunda + Pat were my first wedding of the season this year. Due to Covid-19 their plans had changed, but in no way did the love, excitement, and beauty of the day change. Everything about their day was so perfect and personal to them. Shaunda had hid little details all throughout the wedding that focused on her mother, and their loved ones, Pat’s profession, and their personal love story. We traveled out of town to the family farm, it was truly picture perfect. This North Dakota prairie holds special meaning to them, so obviously it was the ideal place to take their couples photos. Shaunda + Pat’s reception took place at their family farm, another personal space to celebrate their nuptials. Enjoy the rest of the photos, giving you a sneak peek into the Brooke Wedding.

Luke + Theresa reached out to me back in May. Covid-19 had drastically changed their wedding plans, and they were wanting to get married surrounded with the most important people to them. I was thrilled to be able to document their wedding, it felt incredibly intimate and personal. I could relate to everything they were going through as someone who got married through Covid as well. Luke + Theresa had an elopement styled wedding focused on what was most important, their marriage. From the ceremony celebrated by Theresa’s brother; to dancing in the backyard Airbnb, every moment of June 13th felt joyful and loving.
